Profile
Maiya Talipova is a Research Project Administrator in the School of Medicine at Nazarbayev University. She holds a Master of Social Sciences in International Relations from KIMEP University, where she graduated cum laude and wrote her thesis on government-society relations in contemporary Kazakhstan. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Nazarbayev University.
Her research examines political communication, protest, media framing, and public attitudes in Kazakhstan. She combines computational text analysis with qualitative and quantitative methods and contributes to research on state-controlled media and political framing.
