Request Data
Public browsers, database About pages, Downloads indexes, and public codebooks can be viewed without an account. Downloading CSV or JSON data files requires an authenticated account with the appropriate access level.
Download access
Networks & Organizations data resources are normally available to authenticated members. Text as Data resources may require researcher access or a separate request because of dataset size, licensing, fair-use, privacy, ethical-use, or source restrictions. Each resource displays its own access policy on the Downloads page.
Submitting a request
Please include:
- the database, table, curated dataset, or fields requested;
- your name, institutional affiliation, and role;
- the research, teaching, journalism, or public-interest purpose;
- the intended users, outputs, and expected project timeline;
- any requested format, coverage period, or documentation.

Use and citation responsibilities
Approved users must follow the resource's citation guidance, license, source restrictions, research-ethics requirements, and any conditions stated when access is granted. Do not redistribute restricted source text or personal information unless expressly authorized.
