Collaborate

The Organization of Power Lab collaborates with researchers and institutions through two Analytic Approaches. Choose an approach to explore the questions, resources, and ways of working that fit your interests.

Collaborate: Networks & Organizations

Networks & Organizations collaborations examine how political actors, positions, organizations, and relationships shape the organization of power in East and Central Asia. Partners may contribute substantive expertise, languages, archival sources, relational data, comparative cases, or methodological insight.

Collaboration Opportunities

Potential collaborations include joint research articles, conference panels, database development, data integration, archival research, and methodological exchange. Strong proposals connect a question about political organization to observable actors, positions, ties, or organizational outcomes and identify the countries and evidence involved.

Working Together

Begin with a concise description of the research question, cases, available data or expertise, participating researchers, intended outputs, and provisional timeline. The lab will assess fit, data access, responsibilities, methods, authorship expectations, and a review schedule before work begins. Capacity varies, so timing and response expectations are confirmed during this initial fit review.

Relevant Resources

Start with the Networks & Organizations Approach and the political-organization Research Streams. Related publication and Database pages identify existing theory, measures, data, contributors, and literature that may support a proposal.
